About Us
At the moment we are recovering our offices’ location – the historical building. We encourage young people to learn how to take photo. We provide them interesting information about how to take photo in an artistic way. The aim of this activity is to teach our target group to portray our culture in photography. We are also using these photographs in our fanzines. To create these publications, we help our target group to work with Microsoft office programs and photo editing programs.
We want to develop our organization and our office as a cultural centre for youngsters. We hope that to achieve this, we will have a helping hand from the EVS volunteers that we will send to other countries. After the volunteers will return, we will ask them to participate in an event called „Living library” – to share their experiences about different cultures in front of our target group. We will also ask them to create publications about their EVS experience for our fanzines. Thus they will help to raise the comprehension about different cultures in our society.
Our organisation also have cultural information point role, we provide English information about historical places around organisation for foreign visitors.
We also plan to create mutually beneficial cooperation with copper workers and other craftsmen in Gaziantep to teach our target group the ancient crafts of our culture.
Nowadays, our members also work on new workshops about "healthy lifestyle" and "healthy diets". As you know Gaziantep is famous for its cuisine. On the other hand, diabetes and obesity are a big issue in local people. That's why we decided to get local people aware of these problems.
We also would like to promote activities related with introduction of European Voluntary Service to local youngsters. We are planning to have regular meetings every week with local youngsters, talk about EVS and experience sharing meetings with newcomers and previous volunteers.
Hakkımızda
Sosyal İnisiyatif ve Müşterek Sistem Derneği 28.01.2014 tarihinde kurulmuş 16 kayıtlı üyesi ve yerel gönüllüleriyle kültürel miras, sosyal dayanışma, sosyal farkındalık, yaygın eğitim metotları, ve gençlerin bilinçlendirilmesi gibi konularda aktif olarak yer alan bir sivil toplum kuruluşudur. Dernek şehir merkezine yakın ulaşım sorunu bulunmayan tarihi dokunun içerisinde Gaziantep’in en eski yerleşim birimlerinden olan Boyacı mahallesinde yer almaktadır. Derneğin konumu kültürel miras konuları üzerine yaptığımız çalışmalara avantaj sağlamaktadır. Üyelerimizin büyük oranda gençlerden oluşması ve gençlik çalışmalarındaki deneyimimiz bu çalışmalarda önemli aşamalar kaydediyor olmamızı sağlamaktadır. Dernek kurucuları gençlik çalışmaları konusunda pek çok proje ve aktivitede yer almış kişilerden oluşmaktadır. Sosyal İnisiyatif ve Müşterek Sistem Derneği aynı zamanda yetişkin eğitimi ve aktif yaşlanma gibi konularda çalışmalar yapmakta ve aktivitelerde yer almaktadır.
Dernek olarak gençlere kentimizde boş zaman aktiviteleri hususunda elimizden geldiğince yardımcı olmaktayız. Ülke bazında birçok gençlik aktivitelerinde yer almakta olan gençlerimiz ve yurtiçi projelerinde yer alan üyelerimiz derneğimizin orta vadede yapmayı düşündüğü gençlik çalışmaları için önemli rol oynamaktadırlar. Derneğimiz kendisine gelecekte gençlere yönelik her türlü bilinçlendirici çalışmada yer alma hedefini koymuştur.
